Cape Verde's Maritime Defense: A New King Air 360ER Aircraft to Monitor Coasts

The Portuguese archipelago is moving to a higher speed for the monitoring of its territorial waters. The country has just acquired a King Air 360ER aircraft, a high-tech aircraft specialized in maritime patrol, rescue at sea, coastal surveillance and medical evacuation. An estimated investment of 11.2 million euros, which also includes spare parts and technical assistance.
