Michael Douglas will be honored at the 32nd annual Cannes Film Festival in May.

“Basic Instinct” star Michael Douglas (78) will receive the prestigious Golden Palm at the 76th Cannes Film Festival this month as a career reward. He will receive a tribute at the opening ceremony that will be broadcast live on French television on Tuesday, May 16.
