Cadence Bank acquires Industry Bancshares, Inc.

On July 1, Cadence Bank (NYSE: CADE) announced the successful completion of the process to acquire Industry Bancshares, Inc. Area institutions affected: • Industry State Bank; • The First National Bank of Bellville; • Fayetteville Bank • Citizens State Bank • The First National Bank of Shiner; and • Bank of Brenham.

Cadence Bank announced July 1 the successful completion of its previously announced acquisition of Industry Bancshares, Inc., the bank holding company for Industry State Bank, The First National Bank of Bellville, Fayetteville Bank, Citizens State Bank, The First National Bank of Shiner and Bank of Brenham. Industry Bancshares was merged into Cadence Bank effective July 1, 2025, after receiving all required regulatory and shareholder approvals.

Citizens State Bank clarifies no connection to Cadence Bank acquisition

In response to recent news about Cadence Bank’s acquisition of Industry Bancshares Inc., Citizens State Bank in Somerville has issued a statement clarifying it is not affiliated with the Citizens State Bank referenced in Cadence Bank’s July 1 press release.
