Camping fees about to go up in Michigan

It’s going to cost you more to go camping at state parks in Michigan. Those camping rates go up on Friday. Campers will pay $4 to $10 more a night for modern and semi-modern campsites. Modern lodges will undergo a phased-in rate increase over the next two years, with a nightly base rate of $236 a night by 2027.
