A Calumet City man was arrested early Monday morning after a high speed pursuit that began on Interstate 80, Indiana State Police said.

Lake County- Monday morning at approximately 12:40 a.m., Indiana State Trooper Haddon was on patrol on I-80 near Burr St. when he observed two vehicles traveling at an extreme high rate of speed. It appeared that the vehicles were racing eastbound from that location, Sgt. Glen Fifield said in a release. Trp.
