Sylvana Dufossé, an employee of a Burger King restaurant in Calais, took her own life on January 1, 2026, after suffering harassment, according to her older sister.

Two employees of a Burger King restaurant in Calais will be tried in December for moral harassment, four months after the suicide of one of their colleagues, was learned on Sunday from the public prosecutor's office in Boulogne-sur-Mer (Pas-de-Calais) and the victim's entourage.

After the suicide of young Sylvana last January, two of her former colleagues from Burger King de Calais were placed in police custody this week for moral harassment, says the Boulogne-sur-Mer Public Prosecutor's Office.
