Sky Fire In Lake County Now 80% Contained
The 19-acre Sky Fire in Lake County is now 80 percent contained. All evacuation orders were lifted by about 6:20 Sunday evening, a little more than three hours after the fire started. The fire is burning in a remote area about seven miles southeast of Clearlake, in hilly and forested terrain. The area is south of the Brushy Sky High area and is about 20 miles north of the Pickett Fire in Napa County. The cause of the Sky Fire is unclear.
