Puerto Vallarta, Jal., Inhabitants of the fishing village of Mismaloya, activists and service providers closed for almost five hours the federal highway 200 – which runs along the entire coast of Jamaica and connects to the south with Manzanillo, Colima, and to the north with Tepic, Nayarit – in protest of the attempt to privatize the entrance of the Arcos de Mismaloya, a protected natural area that protects a marine park.
