STATEN ISLAND, N.Y— Milford LL capped off a dominant run through the Little League East Region All-Star 10s softball tournament with a commanding 10-0, four-inning mercy-rule victory over Vermont’s Green Mountain on Monday morning. With the win, Connecticut’s representatives boosted their overall run differential in the qualifying games to an impressive +25.

Burrillville wins Little League state championship

BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WPRI) — The Burrillville Little League team is heading to the New England Regionals for the first time in more than five decades. In a winner-takes-all game on Saturday, Burrillville shut out Coventry 6-0 to win the state title. It's the first time they've won since 1972.
