Burleson receives American Legion award

LEAD — Johnathan Burleson, son of Lead residents Jarred and Samantha Burleson, was awarded a $1,200 scholarship at the 2025 South Dakota Boys State event. Burleson will now compete for a $10,000 Samsung scholarship at the national level.
