Slovenia fined €1.2 million for delays in remediation of Bukovžlak landfill
The Court of Justice of the EU has imposed a fine of 1.2 million euros on Slovenia for delays in the remediation of the Bukovžlak landfill. It had sufficient time to remediate, and the delay cannot be justified by either the Covid-19 pandemic or disruptions in administrative activities as a result of the pandemic, the court announced.
