Budgetary transparency in schools: Minister of Education sets new guidelines

In a note addressed to the academic authorities, the Minister of Education, Moustapha Mamba Guirassy, highlights irregularities in the budgetary management of schools, insists on the obligation to include all resources in budgets and balance sheets, to ensure their formal validation by the competent authorities and to transmit these documents in a timely manner, with a view to enhancing transparency and accountability in the education sector.
