It is March 10, 1265, and the burgrave of Zvík, Hirzo, on the orders of the Czech king Přemysl Otakar II, hands over a deed to the Dominicans, and especially a plot of land at the confluence of the Vltava and Malše. This is where it will be built! České Budějovice is commemorating 760 years since its founding. Archivist Daniel Kovář tells about the history of the city.
