Strong winds fanned a brush fire that resulted in heavy losses in Commerce. The fire broke out shortly after 3 p.m. near Highway 326 and Duncan Road. It destroyed two barns, one storage unit, and three vehicles. Several antique vehicles were also lost in the blaze, according to Banks County Fire Chief Steve Nichols.
