The UN Human Rights Commissioner on Detained Activists, Vučić's Call to Block the Court and the Announced Changes to the Law on Higher Education

The Commissioner for Human Rights of the United Nations, Volker Turk, advocated today in Belgrade for the strengthening of the independence of the judiciary and mechanisms for the protection of human rights in Serbia, and he also emphasized the importance of the autonomy of universities, but when asked by journalists about the announced changes to the Law on Education, he replied that he did not know about them.
