Matthew Brennan Sprints for a Second Vuelta Stage Win as Tadej Pogačar Stays in Control

- The stage covered 173.3km from Falset to Roquetes as the peloton chased down an early breakaway group with nearly 100km remaining.
- Visma-Lease a Bike teammates Wout van Aert and Christophe Laporte delivered a perfect lead-out, launching Brennan into the final sprint ahead of Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe's Jordi Meeus.
- Race leader Tadej Pogacar maintained his overall lead in the red jersey, holding a 3min 21sec advantage over compatriot Primoz Roglic of Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe.
- Thursday's 177.5km stage from Alcossebre to Castello features four categorized climbs, including a dirt road during the final ascent as the race continues.
