British Independent Film Awards winners revealed
Harry Lighton's debut film Pillion won four awards including Best Debut Screenwriter and craft honors, dominating the 2025 British Independent Film Awards.
- On Sunday evening at the Roundhouse in Camden, London, Pillion won Best British Independent Film and took four awards, with Celia Imrie presenting the top prize to the team.

- Warp Films was honoured with the BIFA Special Jury Prize for nearly 25 years of unflinching storytelling, while The Magic Lantern Cinema in Tywyn won the inaugural Cinema of the Year award.
