British fashion designer John Galliano is leaving the French fashion house Maison Margiela after 10 years, where he worked as creative director. Matthieu Blazy has been appointed to one of the most high-profile jobs in fashion — he is the new creative director of Chanel.
Galliano joined Margiela as creative director in 2014, three years after he left Dior after being accused of making anti-Semitic remarks.
