January 27, 2026 Police have charged a 14-year-old boy with attempted armed robbery after an elderly man was bashed in his Murgon home on Monday. Police will allege that about 4:30am, the boy and two other unknown people entered a property on Lamb Street. Police have charged a 14-year-old boy following an attempted armed robbery in Murgon on 26 January. Police will allege around 4.30am the boy and two other unknown people entered a property on Lamb Street where they threatened a man and a woman with a knife demanding the couple’s car keys.
