The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, urged Russia on Friday to “accept” immediately the US proposal for a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine and asked Moscow to put an end to its “declarations of delay”. “Russia must now accept the US-Ukrainian proposal for a 30-day ceasefire. Russian aggression in Ukraine must end. Atrocities must cease. Dilatory declarations must end,” Macron said on social networks.
