- Two parallel investigations—one by a Special Investigation Team and another by the police—are examining the theft, with eight persons already arrested following the preliminary report.
- The active voting pool for the July 6 gathering is severely restricted due to one vacant seat and the expected absence of the ailing president, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das.
- Discussions will also include appointing a CEO to manage temple affairs and approval of the unaudited income-expenses statement for the 2025-26 financial year.
