Spring 2025 Watermain Flushing
The Water and Wastewater Department tests fire hydrants and flushes watermains on a seasonal basis. Hydrants are opened and allowed to flow in a controlled manner in one direction, cleaning out the sediment inside the pipes. Flushing will begin in Sturgeon Falls and Verner on April 22, 2025.
