Brabant is cleaning up pollution caused by drug waste at five locations

The province of Noord-Brabant has five locations where soil contaminated by drug waste must be cleaned up. In addition to Halsteren, the largest drug dump, this is also happening in Bergen op Zoom, Deurne, Boxtel, Someren and Zundert. In Altena and Baarle-Nassau, drug waste, for example through leaking barrels, has also caused pollution, but the extent of this is still being investigated, the province reports.
