Boys basketball roundup: Montevideo takes down feisty Minnewaska

MONTEVIDEO — The Montevideo boys basketball team used a strong first half to beat Minnewaska 78-68 Thursday in a West Central Conference game. Montevideo, ranked third in the state in Class AA, have won 13 straight games and are 15-1 overall. They are 5-1 in conference play. Minnewaska is 3-5 in the WCC and 10-6 overall.
