Bowling Duo Wins a Medal but Is Somewhat Disappointed

By Martin Lüken: Marion Niehoff and Julian Geerdes of the host team, Grafschafter Sportkegler (GSK), secured the bronze medal in mixed pairs at the German Championships. The duo was in fourth place for a long time, but secured a podium finish with a final spurt. Niehoff and Geerdes finished with 701 pins. They were followed by Yvonne Ruch/Markus Gebauer (KV Nordsaar, 765 pins) and Simone Ifland/Stephan Tasche (KV Gelsenkirchen, 733 pins). more...
