A gas pipeline exploded on Thursday night in the Bouches-du-Rhône. There are no casualties, but impressive images with flames several meters high. Nearly 120 people were evacuated. A security perimeter was defined in Saint-Martin-de-Crau. Very soon, no less than 180 firefighters and 56 vehicles were deployed. After long hours, the fire was controlled and the gas leak cut. The fire that followed the explosion on the night of Thursday 12th to Friday 13th June on agricultural land near the village of Saint-Martin de Crau is now controlled by firefighters. The origin of the incident remains unknown and no people or housing were affected.
