Hundreds of houses were left surrounded by floodwater in the western Bosnian town of Prijedor on Saturday (March 29) after heavy rainfall in the area.

The most critical areas are the settlements of Tukovi and Gomjenica.

According to the latest information from the competent services, more than eight hundred buildings were flooded in the area of Prijedor, and so far firefighters and members of the Civil Protection have evacuated 145 people from flooded houses.
