Body recovered in water near Bay Bridge toll plaza

OAKLAND — A body was recovered by Oakland firefighters Thursday morning in San Francisco Bay near the Bay Bridge toll plaza, authorities said. The body was recovered about 9:30 a.m. by the Fire Department’s marine unit in Bay waters north of the toll plaza after someone in a vehicle on westbound I-80 reported seeing it, authorities said.
