Colorado Parks and Wildlife are investigating a possible drowning at Steamboat Lake State Park after finding a body secured to an overturned boat. The victim was not wearing a life jacket and was pronounced dead on the scene. The park ranger warns that water activities in the spring and early summer can be dangerous due to frigid water temperatures and rapidly changing weather conditions.

Park rangers responded just after 3 p.m. on Saturday to a call about an overturned watercraft in the lake, according to a CPW press release.
