NEWLAND — The Avery County Board of Education held its monthly meeting on Thursday, June 12, the first meeting with Dr. Beth Penley in the role of ACS Superintendent.

Chandler board of education meeeting

Chandler Board of Education members re-employed all of its support, approved open transfers to the Chandler School District for School Year 2025/2026, hired six new personnel and accepted four resignations during their most recent meeting.
