Blocked cruise ship departs IJmuiden port six hours later than planned

Thousands of holidaymakers were taken by bus from the Amsterdam Passenger Terminal to IJmuiden this afternoon. There they boarded the Jewel of the Seas, the cruise ship that was forced to dock in the IJmondhaven early this morning because a group of activists from Extinction Rebellion blocked the passage.
