Caprock Canyons State Park and Trailway adds about 2,200 acres through new acquisitions

Caprock Canyons State Park and Trailway has added about 2,200 acres through two recent land acquisitions in Briscoe County, according to Texas Parks and Wildlife.

Bison-filled state park in Texas Panhandle gains 2,000 acres of canyonland

The expansion is expected to benefit the park's natural resources and the Texas State Bison Herd that roams through the park, Tuesday's release says, as well as adding fun new areas for visitors.
