Chris Rokos Donates £190 Million to Launch Cambridge Rokos School of Government
The £190 million gift will fund a multidisciplinary school training future leaders with PhD and Masters programs, marking the largest donation to a UK university in modern times.
Billionaire hedge fund owner Chris Rokos is to donate £190m to the University of Cambridge to create a school of government named after him.
The Rokos School of Government will train future leaders and generate insights to respond to the rapidly changing world.
Rokos said he wanted to 'give something back' to Britain and that the school will be a place where leaders and experts can find solutions to new challenges.
The University of Cambridge receives 190 million pounds, about 218 million euros to change, the largest private donation to a university in the United Kingdom.
