In February, Tilda Swinton will be awarded the Honorary Golden Bear at the Berlinale. The 64-year-old Scot is looking forward to it, as the Berlin Film Festival was the first one she ever attended. She has never forgotten what she owes the Berlinale.

The Berlin Film Festival awarded British actress Tildi Swinton the Golden Bear for Lifetime Achievement at its 75th edition in February, its organizers said.
"She brings so much humanity, compassion, intelligence, humor and style to film, and through her work, she expands our ideas about the world," said festival director Tricia Tuttle about Tilda Swinton, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 75th Berlinale.
“The variety of Tilda Swinton's work is breathtaking. Tilda is one of our idols in modern cinema, and she has also been part of the Berlinale family for a long time,” said the festival director.
The festival will take place from 13 to 23 February. It will open with the new Tykwer film (ANSA)
