The Berlin Senate intends to tighten gun laws to better prosecute illegal gun possession through an initiative in the Bundesrat (Federal Council). A corresponding draft bill for a change in federal law is to be discussed in the Senate on Tuesday, announced State Secretary for the Interior Christian Hochgrebe (SPD) in the Interior Committee.
