An Ulster County Sheriff's Office retired K-9 named Dozer passed away at the age of 14 on Thursday. The sheriff's office made the announcement on Friday morning.

Dozer, a retired law enforcement dog who served with the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, died on April 30 at the age of 14, the agency announced. Dozer worked alongside his handler, Deputy Kyle Frano, from 2014 through 2019 and was credited with a long record of narcotics detection and suspect tracking during his five-year career.
