The Indigenous Cultural Development Center's second themed exhibition of the year, "umaumalran - Becoming a Storyteller," opened on the 27th at the Taiwan Indigenous Cultural Park in Majia Township, Pingtung County. Artist Yang Muren, from the Zhiben Tribe of the Puyuma people in Taitung, explored her cultural roots through painting, showcasing how Indigenous peoples respond to contemporary and global dialogues in their own language.
