The President of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Minister Luis Roberto Barroso, said that the Court is not “lawing or regulating, in general, abstract and definitive terms, the digital platforms”. “In a system of separation of Powers, such as Brazilian democracy, is the legislation that creates laws, the Executive applies these laws and provides public services, and the Judiciary applies the law to resolve disputes brought about by the parties.
