Barcelos: The Festival of the Crosses begins today

The Festas das Cruzes in Barcelos begins today, extending until Sunday with highlights including shows by The Gift, Fernando Daniel, Nininho Vaz Maia and Calema. It is the first time that the pilgrimage has taken place after being listed as Intangible Cultural Heritage.
