Balkan capital back in Wizz Air's network from Budapest: New routes and more weekly services

Wizz Air is expanding its Budapest operations in 2026, adding its 19th aircraft to the Hungarian base and relaunching the Budapest–Sofia route. The Hungarian low-cost carrier is also launching five new routes, including Greek, Spanish, and Bulgarian destinations, and increasing weekly flights on six existing routes, such as Antalya, Málaga, and Malta, giving travellers more options for summer trips across Europe.
