Ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the reopening of the Bailey Bridge

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will celebrate the reopening of the Bailey Bridge on Wednesday. The reopening of the State Route 353 bridge, formally known as the Floyd W. “Jason” Lamb Jr. Memorial Bridge, will mark TDOT’s 49th and final opening of a roadway or bridge that was closed due to Hurricane Helene in September of 2024. TDOT Commissioner Will Reid and federal, state, and local officials are expected to attend the ceremony at 10:30 a.m.
