The Top Baby Names of 2025: See Which Names Made the List
BabyCenter analyzed over 350,000 births to reveal rising trends including pop culture influences and spiritual classics in the top baby names for 2025.
- On Nov. 5, BabyCenter released its 2025 names list and said there were `shakeups in the top 10 on both sides`, with Olivia and Noah leading for the third straight year.
- Using parental submissions, BabyCenter compiles its rankings from names parents share when registering on the BabyCenter app, drawing from more than 350,000 babies born in 2025.
- On entry-and-exit moves, the data reveal Eliana and Aurora entered the girls' Top 10 at numbers 7 and 9, Luca displaced Leo in the boys' Top 10, and seven new girl names refreshed the top 100 including Juniper, Oaklynn, Sienna and Eloise.
- Trends show that pop culture is shaping choices, as BabyCenter said parents are `pulling inspiration straight from their playlists and binge-watches,` with Jaylin rising 265 spots, Courtney up 866, and Blake and Justin falling.
- Because the SSA had not released its list as of Nov. 4, BabyCenter's data precedes the SSA publication and reflects the first year of Generation Beta, Robin Hilmantel said.
