- At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, AWOL Vision unveiled the Aetherion series, including the Max and Pro, billed as the world's sharpest 4K triple-laser ultra-short-throw system.
- AWOL created PixelLock to tackle known UST problems like pixel drift and color separation, using optical, mechanical, and digital alignment to fuse and synchronize every pixel.
- The Aetherion Max puts out 3,300 ISO lumens and the Pro 2,600 ISO lumens, both with three HDMI 2.1 ports and anti-RBE technology, which AWOL says reduces rainbow effect by 99.99%.
- The company plans a Kickstarter launch, followed by retail sales from April with the Aetherion Max priced at $4,499 and the Aetherion Pro at $3,499.
- AWOL says the Aetherion series sets a new benchmark for cinematic and gaming projection, with enhanced Black Level algorithms boosting effective EBL to 60,000:1 for deeper immersion.

The new AWOL Vision Aetherion series consists of two models that will be on sale starting in April. But the prices aren't for everyone. AWOL Vision has unveiled the new Aetherion series, comprised of the Aetherion Max and Aetherion Pro ultra-short-throw projectors. According to the company, it is the sharpest UST 4K system ever developed, and also the first to preserve all the detail of 4K resolution on projection surfaces up to 200 inches.
The start of the CES 2026 is given and it is AWOL Vision's turn to talk about its new projectors. The manufacturer unveils Aetherion, a new series in ultra-short focal (UST) that intends to push the boundaries of the genre. Two models are announced, Aetherion Max and Aetherion Pro, with a strong promise: to offer a truly exploitable 4K image up to 200 inches diagonal, where most UST projectors start to show their limits long before.
