Avon City Council approves temporary hotel moratorium

Avon City Council approved the extension of the temporary hotel moratorium. During a June 23 Council meeting, members decided to grant the extension because of some concerns. The ordinance will prohibit the future development or construction of any hotel, motel, extended stays or boarding houses in the city. The moratorium was imposed in June 2024.
