An avalanche measuring 65 metres wide and two metres high hit the open 'Mohnenmähder' ski slope in Lech am Arlberg in Vorarlberg (Bludenz district) on Sunday morning. A ski guide discovered the avalanche in the area of the Steinmähderbahn mountain station.
