(KRON) -- A teenage boy and a man who drowned in the Russian River in separate incidents over the weekend have been identified by the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday. The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday identified the victims in separate Russian River drownings over the weekend and said neither one was wearing a life jacket. In an incident Sunday afternoon at Monte Rio Beach on the lower Russian River, where two juveniles were struggling in the water, 17-year-old Elan Miranda of Oakland was pronounced dead at the scene, sheriff’s officials said.
