The Austrian Trade Union Federation (ÖGB) announced on Monday that it is revoking the negotiated settlement with Gerhard Köfer (Team Carinthia), mayor of Spittal an der Drau. The legal dispute surrounding allegations by the Carinthian ÖGB chairman, Rene Willegger, regarding alleged interference in a union election in the municipality is therefore likely to continue. Köfer continues to deny the accusations.
