- Coral Expeditions told media `All passengers and crew are safe` while initial inspections found no hull damage and PNG Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre boarded after crew alerted authorities around 6am.
- Waiting for high tide, crews planned refloating and inspections of the hull and marine environment at Dreghafen Point, while the Australian Maritime Safety Authority monitored and stood ready to assist PNG authorities.
