Audit and Consulting: PWC separates from its French-speaking Africa branch

While the relations between the Anglo-Saxon audit giant and its ten-member branch in Central and West Africa had been tense for years, their divorce was based on disagreement over the management of compliance issues.

PwC announced on March 31, 2025 the separation of its cabinets in sub-Saharan French-speaking Africa covering ten countries including Cameroon, Congo and Gabon. Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, Cameroon, DRC, Congo, Madagascar, Guinea, Senegal, Equatorial Guinea and Chad.
