- At its core, the Concept C features a vertical frame referencing the Auto Union Type C and 2004 Audi A6, includes Audi's first electrically retractable hardtop on a roadster, and places the EV battery centrally with a rear axle e-motor.
- Audi plans production in 2027, presenting the Concept C as a spiritual replacement for the defunct former Audi TT with no internal-combustion engine; CEO Gernot Dollner expects very low five digit global sales but insists it will make money.
